Fort Lauderdale, FL, September 24, 2005 - The South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery based in Fort Lauderdale is committed to helping breast cancer victims who could benefit from breast reconstructive surgery, but lack the financial resources required. The unique pro-bono breast reconstruction program comes at little or no cost to those who quality. The program is a four-way partnership between The American Cancer Society, The South Florida Center, its surgeons, and the Mentor Corporation. The Center provides the operating room space, anesthesia, supplies, and follow up care at no cost, and the surgery is offered free of charge.
